Get Route Recon Pro from the GEOINT App Store

Route Recon is a powerful mobile app that merges GPS-navigation and physical security principles that enhances security of ground travel and risk mitigation. The U.S. government-only version, Route Recon Pro - is available to download at no cost to the end-user from the NGA's GEOINT App Store by all Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) Personnel.

NOTE: A valid GEOINT account using existing federal credentials such as Common Access Card (CAC) or Personal Identity Verification (PIV) is required to create an account on the GEOAxIS site. Approved CAC/PIC cards include, but are not limited to, LincPass, Smart Card, CAC and any card issued by the GSA HSPD-12 Managed Service Office (MSO), USAccess Program.

How-To create a GEOINT Account

Follow the instructions below to create your account and download Route Recon Pro.

Step 1 - Create an account on the GEOAxIS site

Visit the GEOAxIS website on a CAC/PIV enabled device using a browser that has your certs.

Select the PKI Certificate as your authentication method and continue.

Select Users > Disadvantaged User and complete the requested information (password, account duration, justification, and security questions).

Once your user account has been created, update your profile to provide an email address and other requested information.

Step 2 - Log in to the GEOINT App Store

Visit the GEOINT App Store on a mobile device and sign in with your new account credentials.

Download the GEOINT App Store App for the best user experience

For iOS users Only: Establish trust for DoD apps by navigating to Settings > General > Profiles and Device Management > U.S. Department of Defense.

Tap Trust this app developer, then return to the GEOINT App Store.

Step 3 - Download Route Recon® Pro from the GEOINT App Store

In the GEOINT App Store, search for Route Recon to find and download the iOS or Android version of Route Recon Pro.
